A modern classic: This is the combination of Verner Panton’s design and Menu’s award winning thermo cups, created by Pernille Vea.
Verner Panton’s colourful design is called Geometry 1 and is from 1960. It represents Panton’s first and most famous textile design, for which he received The International Design Award in the US in 1963.

The colours are dishwasher safe. The high quality porcelain, which was fired at 1320° C, ensures strength, durability and an easy-to-clean surface. The glaze is acid-resistant and its colour will, therefore, not fade – not even in the dishwasher. The glaze is also lead and cadmium-free.
The Panton series also consists of egg cups, bowls and the thermo cups. Menu has produced it in limited quantities and sells the pieces in lovely boxes. Perfect as a gift – even for yourself!

Verner Panton
The Danish architect Verner Panton caused a stir in the 60ies and kept on designing successful products until his death in 1998. Times they were a-changin’ - and Panton’s innovatory ideas and daring use of modern materials and lavish colours were an instant hit. Panton became synonymous with sensational textile, furniture and lighting design. Works like the ‘Cone Chair’ and the ‘Globe Light’ are eternal Scandinavian design icons! Panton designed the legendary textile pattern ’Geometri 1’ in 1960: Recently revived on porcelain from Menu - and more popular than ever!
